Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 01-12-2023 Swansea City v Huddersfield Town
The Sky Bet Championship Saturday December 2nd - 15:00 ko at the Vetch Field ![]() Huddersfield Town travel to Swansea to the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon for a chance to move up the league table. Swansea are only a point above us and therefore a win will take us above them. They lost at Leeds on Wednesday night, with ex Town star Jamie Paterson scoring in the first minute before they capitulated, losing 3-1. On the same night, Town had a marvellous 2-1 win up at Sunderland, with another goal from leading scorer Michal Helik and a well taken winner from Delano Burgzorg. That goal was Del Boy's last action of the match, apart from his little dance with Sorba Thomas, as he was subbed to welcome back the not Welsh goalkeeper, Danny Ward. Just as well Danny's back, because Town boss Darren Moore has revealed to someone unfortunte enough to have attended his press conference, that Kian Harratt is now another name to add to our list of long term injuries. Ah well, only a month to go now till Uncle Kev from Sacremento opens his cheque book up and buys us a new 30 goals a season striker. ![]() Tickets: Adults - £29 Over 65s - £19 Under 21s - £19 Under 18s - £13 Under 12s - £10 Students - £19 Armed Forces - £19 Head to Head ![]() Town lead the head to head with 25 wins to Swansea's 18, with 18 draws. He was born in 1948, and you know what that means: he’s 75. No response from Colin as yet. Chuff me Snoots, that makes an AmChaff thread look like a epic. I admire your restraint and the nerve to not go back and copy and paste a previous masterpiece and then slash and cut to ensure it makes sense, I do hope you are well by the way. Do let us know, we can fill in the additional crap as required. RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 01-12-2023 I'd seen Mr. Moore referred to as Big Dave a few times, so I thought I'd enquire as to why ... our Baggies mates come up top trumps again. ![]() (01-12-2023, 18:18)Ska'dForLife-WBA Wrote:(01-12-2023, 17:14)theo_luddite Wrote: Ok chaps, as a Yorkie living in Dingle land, yes I know, I put up with them, question - when or why did Darren Moore become known as Big Dave? RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 01-12-2023 BBC News has just had a feature about guided walks to watch an endagered species. The Owls. Didn't look like it was in Sheffield but on the BBC these days? Who knows? RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 01-12-2023 Thanks for asking, theo. Everything is ticketyboo at the moment. Just had a bad weekend last week, none of our making. All fine now. RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 01-12-2023 Good ![]() RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 01-12-2023 To be honest, I didn't notice nobody had taken the Swansea game until I'd posted my Sunderland thread. Couldn't be arsed doing a major one, with a bit of re-hashing. I'll do it now though...... A brief history of Swansea Town/City....... They won the Autoglass Trophy some time in the 1990s. That's it. ![]() RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 01-12-2023 Bostin ower kid, can't think who they beat?!? ![]() I was splashing through the piss flowing out of the gents toilets and heading for a tube and train home by the time they picked up their trophy ![]() God job we didn't totally fill that end, there'd have been floods in Brent for months to follow afterwards. RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - jjamez - 02-12-2023 Wonder how many have braved the icy weather to travel for our European game RE: Swansea City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 02-12-2023 Snoots has gone quiet again so here's one to help out - Manager Darren Moore makes two changes to team from Sunderland - Ward and Nakayama come in for Burgzorg and Koroma |
