An excellent win at Coventry propelled Albion up to the dizzying height of 5th, but to stay there this weekend will be a tougher ask as potential playoff rivals Hull are Saturday's visitors. The general record is encouraging: since the Huddersfield blip at autumn's beginning, Albion have remained unbeaten at home and conceded not a single goal, while our last home defeat against the Tigers was all of fifteen years ago in October 2008. However, Hull also visit on a high, back-to-back wins putting them on the verge of three victories in a row for the first time in nearly two years. Goal difference is currently all that separates the two sides, so three points in either camp would be a massive boost to promotion credentials.

For once, the news on the injury front is relatively positive: Sarmiento and Ajayi may feature in the matchday squad, while Hull are without the architect of their recent wins, Jaden Philogene. In the youngster's absence, the Tigers will be relying on fellow footballing foetus Liam Delap and ex-Dingle man-mountain Adama Traore to bring Albion's clean-sheet streak to an end, but if the Baggies can stand firm, a point on top of Monday's result should do us nicely.

Another great win against a very handy Hull side. Grady's on fire right now, the job Carlos has done restoring his confidence and turning his trajectory round in the last month or so is unreal. ¡Larga vida al rey!
