Freckles for Maguire - Devongone - 31-08-2023
Maguire has been promoted to the EFL on loan, make sense of that if you can. He's at Crawley till January. I'd say it is a good move for him.
Freckleton is in from Sheffield Utd on loan, a left-sided centre back or full back, therefore a slightly different version of Maguire. Has had two decent loan spells in the past. Is he intended to replace Horton. Certainly our defence isn't the soundest. Is he part of the solution or just another question?

Big question mark for me. Last season Maguire solidified our defense and chipped in with goals. Presume he just didn't get on with Cook. Unless we are going to play 2left footed centre backs I can't see the point in this. Bailey Clements is on his way back from injury so it's a strange one

Dancing, you and I seem to be the only two people who rate Maguire. I thought he improved the side last season too. I like Bailey Clements too ........

As it happens, I agree with you both - so that makes three. I really can`t see any sort of sense in this at all and can only assume that there`s been some sort of bust-up between LM and one of the management team which has meant that he`s been frozen out. Good luck to him: I hope he does well at Crawley.
