Another very good scoring week in the PL. This week we also saw our first 20 point haul as Minizin had an excellent week scoring on 7 games and scoring on all his balls. Blue had a large improvement on last week with 16 points and scored on a season's high 8 out of the 10 games, if he could have converted one or two of the CRs into CSs he would have had an even better week. Our Week 1 leader Zinman had another solid week with 14 points, again scoring on the Gamball and Bonus. Derby matched the 14 points and had a weks high 2 CSs including the Bonus.
Stairs was 5th again with 12 points and BBB improved to 6th place but only scored 7 points. Lady Jane struggled again this week, with 6 points this time and Dingle dropped to last place this week with just 3 points, a seasons low in the fledgling league.

Minizin moves to the top of the table, overtaking his elder Zinman. Derby is close behind in 3rd and Blue moves up 3 places to 4th. Stairs stays 5th, Dingle drops 3 places and Lady Jane drops into the bottom 2 with BBB still rooted to the bottom.
But as all us Owls will tell you, the league table means absolutely nothing at the moment!!

Some contrasting ball play this week. Only 1 positive gamball score, just 1 scoreball but a better return from the bonus with 5 out of 7 getting it right.
Sanjay came back into the fold and immediately hit form with a table topping 14 points from a week's high of 6 correct results. He's joined at the top by last week's leader, Twerton - in contrast to Sanjay he only got 3 predictions right but one of them was a gamball maximum and another his bonus 9 (plus the only scoreball point) - it definitely helps to get those balls right! AAA secuered 3rd place with a solid 11 points - he was the only player to avoid the gamball, saving him a point.
Snooty is 3 points further back and was the third player to get a correct score. BaggieOne got the second highest number of correct results but was also one of 2 players to miss out on all his balls so he's tied with SCO on just 4 points. That leaves Themaclad to bring up the rear failing to register a point form the week. Again it was his balls letting him down!

Twerton continues to head the table and has opened quite a gap considering we're only 2 weeks in. Sanjay gave everyone a week's start but immediately got into gear overtaking 3 of his rivals. But as SCO says, it's early days and as the late lamented Beefy used to say, it's a marathon not a sprint. Feel free to add your own cliches in the replies!
