New captain - harrogatebaggie - 04-08-2023
With Dara and Jake leaving, we are in need of a new captain.
CC has advised he will announce it on Saturday.
Who do you want it to be?
I think the possibles are, Bartley, Furlong, Townsend, okay, swift or Wallace.
My vote would be okay, he has all the attributes you want. Leads by example, in the right place on the pitch to give out orders, can see all that’s going on, someone to look up to.
But what do you all think?

I agree with Okay, but IMHO i think Townsend will get the nod.

i can see Wallace or Okay getting the nod, I would prefer Okay just for his personality but you can't doubt Wallace would lead by example as well, Townsend would shock me a little as I don't really see what he brings in the sense of leadership.
