New Away Kits - 4evaabaggie - 03-07-2023

Loving the new away shirts .......

Especially the red and blue, lime green is different but I like it.

Saw them on newsnow West Brom, £55 is a lot of money in the current financial crisis, why can't football clubs price shirts more realistically.
I know clubs of our size can't compete with the big money clubs and have to raise revenue somehow but the fans, the real fans, are the ones that are hurting.

Here's hoping for a successful new season but fearing the worst unless we get a change of ownership.

The red and blue looks a bit Barca-esque, quite likeable. The green one is like someone took the worst of 1970s colour and 1990s design and mashed them together, though.

I quite like the green one....not enough to buy it at £55 though

Ska and blue, would've liked your posts apart from the green strip part. As baggiesteve says, quite like it but not 55 notes worth.I

Ska'd thanks for posting the picture, I am a moderate computer user, that's above my skill set.

I'm a Green ? and Yellow ? away strip fan.
I'm not sure as to why we have to stray away from it.
Sure everyone wants the latest shirt, but £55
And it's blue and red, it's a no from me.

On reflection the design of the new shirt belongs to PSG or Barc and the green one is a goalkeepers shirt.
None are offensive on the eye but traditional colours IMO remain the best
Interestingly PSG new strip has a large white stripe this year
Several years ago Barc had a red and blue mix shirt very similar to our new one along with a lime green third kit.
Coincidental?

both look like they've been designed by a primary school kid absolutely awful
and as with all shirts these days the use of additional graphics just looks messy
my favourite shirt in my collection is from the mid 70s and the only alternative colour
graphic was the red no8 on the back big blue and white stripes that's it.

They are crap - who in God's name suggested to move away from our strips that we've been know for for over a century.

Apart from  buying it for £55 quid to help the club, it's a 3/10 from me.

Never know it might become a collectors piece - of turf.

OMG if we thought our away kit was bad take a look at arsenals Doh  Laugh  the same hideous lime green with a map of islington on it apparently.
Personally I think they got the same kiddies class to copy ours then one of them ran round it in circles with a black marker pen Thumb down
