LAST MATCH
We kept our unbeaten run going but had to settle for a draw. We started off quick with Gregory forcing a save but he found the net a short while later turning in a Flint header. We continued on the front foot and had a few chances but couldn't find a second goal. Bolton equalized just before HT Adeboyejo shot deflecting past Dawson. Onto the second half where both teams struggled to create much and the game petered out into a draw
THE MATCH
Next up and a short trip to Oakwell. The Dingles are having a good season and currently lie in 4th place but will be looking to gate-crash the top 2 places starting with us. Devante Cole is there leading scorer with 11 goals, with Phillips & Norwood 9 and 8 goals apiece. They are good form, unbeaten in 10 and will want to end our 23 game unbeaten streak. They are managed by Michael Huff who took over in the summer of 2022 and has a 59% win record.

Important game, but will not break our season win, lose or draw. The Dingles cannot afford to lose, they have to go for the win, we need to exploit that.
Iorfa will come in, Palmer will replace Hunt at WB amd Johnson will replace James. Smith will start up front, let’s hope Windass is fit. I would put Adeniran in for Dele-Bashiru if Byers is not fit.

Looking more likely that 3 of the 4 will miss out tomorrow..again I'd go Smith on his jacks and flood midfield ..this game is all about not conceding a goal and trying to sneak one ourselfs.

As SCO says, this doesn't break our season but wouldn't it be nice to throw a spanner in theirs?
That said is a point really enough? It probably is though it keeps the pressure on at the top for us.
Tough season this. To have an unbeaten streak of 23 and still have teams up your arse.
Top three will finish on 90+ points and teams like Posh and Wycombe will be gutted that around 70pts doesn't even get you a PO spot

be interesting to see who is really available in 24 hrs. This is a game where someone like Vaulks, Dennis or Fizz need to get a couple of worldies and its about time Flint got a set piece goal having been close quite a few times. There’s one thing though the squad spirit and will to not lose is chalk and cheese from when Reach was here. Also we won’t be playing tika taka at the back this time just constructive gerrit f’ward.

Fizz needs to pull his socks up after that last performance.
The contract has been on the table for months and he clearly isn't interested so he must think his agent will have him walking in to a top Championship team, which he won't be.
