It's almost a year now since Albion last visited Kenilworth Road, and Luton's first league win against us since 1996 signalled the end of the Steve Bruce honeymoon while setting the tone for much of what would follow in the remainder of 2022. Things are different now, but both clubs are on the cusp of the playoffs with new managers grinding out some impressive results, and on Saturday afternoon something will have to give.

A well-oiled Chesterfield side gave us far more problems than we've have hoped last weekend, but hopefully with the first XI on the teamsheet we can get back to firing on all cylinders. A point would be acceptable in the circumstances, though with the promotion train pulling out of the station, finding a win would be a huge result for us here.

I'm hoping for a win, cos that will put Luton under us in the league, and us close to or in the the top six. COYB Thumb up

I used to live in Dunstable, it borders Luton, this is one of my must win games. A good result, a clear win to nil would boost our confidence ahead of a tricky trip to Turf Moor. These games including the replay made more tricky by a moment of madness from BTA and a gobby motd presenter, if Rashford, Salah or Haaland had done the same would he have shouted so loud, would the FA have taken the same swift action ????. Not defending the elbow, just bemoaning the difference in the way these things are highlighted or dealt with. Little lowly Albion, they don't matter. Or does my hatred of the premier league and FA cloud my judgement.

2 - 0 Albion. CoyB.

We need the points. Odd bench without Grant and AST suspended. I would have expected Clearly to be selected.
