Cardiff midfielder Jo Inge Berget has left the club by mutual consent with immediate effect, the club has confirmed.
The Norwegian joined from Molde in January 2014 but failed to secure a regular first-team place, playing just two matches for the Bluebirds.
Berget was loaned to Celtic earlier this season and scored two goals in eight appearances for the Hoops, both coming in the 6-1 drubbing of Dundee United in August.
He has since returned to Cardiff, though, and it was agreed by both parties that his contract should be terminated.
