Seems logical. I can remember (when I played) writing to Umbro, urging them to do brown shorts.

Commendable move, and navy is also in keeping with club tradition. Though come to think of it, wasn't there a fan theory back in the day that Albion teams who play in navy shorts are cursed? I vaguely recall it from the era when blue-shorted Albion were cack under Bobby Gould, switched to white shorts under Ossie and never looked back. Though some cynics would suggest that this turnaround was more related to replacing Paul Williams with Super Bob than the precise shade of our subthoracic modesty-preservers.
