Celtic a tad "out of touch" this afternoon, but still good enough to beat a Hertz side (with seven player changes) that was effectively "punchless" even though they had a decent amount of possession for a change. They emulated the Rangers all the same by being reduced to 9 players albeit with a few mins remaining and not so dramatic re the red cards/second yellow card offences that were rightly issued to the offenders, Cochrane and Sibbick. Kyogo "bagged" his usual goal, an early one on 13 mins, that prob settled them down too much. Giacoumakis finished the contest in the dying mins. Job done, 3 pts "in the bag". Celtic not at their best, just "ticking over" and making sure no goals conceded.

I thought hertz did well without causing them any real worry, i don't think they had a shot on target all day.
The big game for them, and the toilet drinkers is midweek.

Decent showing from a team with numerous changes. Was always going to be a free hit as we quite regularly get totally pumped at Darkheid. As you say Jim, Thursday night is a massive game for Hearts, and tbh, Zurich as well
