THE MATCH

SATURDAY 6TH AUGUST KO 3:00PM

LAST MATCH

New season and the same old problems as we fell apart at the back in the second half. It took us only 8 mins to get on the scoresheet for the new season, Bannan found Windass who crossed for Johnson to finish well. We bossed the rest of the half and had a few chances but didn't score. Onto the second half and Pompey levelled after a cross from the right was headed in, Stockdale at fault imo. We restored our lead a few minutes later when FDB belted one in from25 yards. But Pompey levelled again soon after, a cross from the right, header saved by Stockdale but the rebound put in. A few minutes after that and Pompey were ahead, a cross from the right and a free header was put away. Thankfully FDB had his shooting boots and thundered in an equaliser after a corner fell to him. Gregory was sent off for a second yellow near the end, but we saw the game out for a point

THE MATCH

Our first away trip of the season sends us to play the Donuts. They lost like us in the playoff semi finals to Anti Football Wycombe. They have lost a few players including Scott Twine & Troy Parrott. They did sign Will Grigg as a replacement and a couple of youngsters. Liam Manning is still in charge and will hope to get the Donuts back to the playoffs this season. We won here last season when Bazza scored the goal of the season from 40 yards, something similar this Saturday would be welcome.

Its high maintenance tbh drinking everyday that god sends ..Saturdays are no better than Mondays or thursdays...infact there worst where Wednesday are involved ! .
No heating bills but the electrics and air conditioning are a nightmare and the same applies work to live etc.
God save my liver thankfully I've been blessed with one made out of superman material .
