The FA cup thread - Thurnscoe_OWL - 05-01-2015 I know we're out but thought I'd do a thread so it doesn't get caught up in our match threads and the "2nd half" thread. Here's the draw for the 4th round: Southampton or Ipswich v Crystal Palace, Cambridge Utd v Manchester Utd, Blackburn v Swansea, Chelsea v Millwall or Bradford, Derby v Scunthorpe or Chesterfield, Preston North End v Sheffield United, Birmingham City v West Brom, Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth, Cardiff City v Reading, AFC Wimbledon or Liverpool v Bolton, Burnley or Tottenham v Leicester, Brighton v Arsenal, Rochdale v Stoke City, Sunderland v Fulham or Wolves, Doncaster Rovers or Bristol City v Everton or West Ham, Manchester City v Middlesbrough. We could have been at home vs Middlesborough instead we'll have a free weekend because the Birmingham game will be moved to a Tuesday night ![]() Was watching the wimbledon v Liverpool game, Liverpool look very shakey. Currently 1-1. Burnley v Tottenham still 0-0 PLEASE PUT ALL FA CUP TALK IN HERE AND NOT IN OUR OTHER THREADS!! HT Wimbledon 1 v 1 Liverpool (Akinfenwa; Gerrard) HT Burnley 0 v 0 Tottenham ![]() ![]() ![]() ZERO shots in the Burnley game. 0, nil, nada, zilch ![]() RE: The FA cup thread - Thurnscoe_OWL - 05-01-2015 it's so that we have somewhere to talk about it without putting it on our match threads and pissing you off even more ![]() Tottenham are winning 1-0, just need Liverpool to score again and my acca will probably come in 2-1 Liverpool Burnley have equalised ![]() RE: The FA cup thread - St Charles Owl - 05-01-2015 I hear Mignolet went for a cross and missed it for the Wimbledon goal, will that see them have more interest in Westwood maybe?? Pigs get a winnable tie in the next round, away at Preston, won't be easy but they have to fancy their chances in the cup. I for one am happy for them to have another good cup run because they always seem to screw it up at some point and ultimately be disappointed and it always seems to have a bad effect on their league form!!! Long may that continue!! Interesting game in the draw for me is Brum v West Brom, nice local derby with the higher division team away from home. I am sure if Father Ted was still in charge there may have been an upset with this one, but with Pulis there now I expect WBA to win. Cambridge get the dream draw at home to MU, that one will be on tv for sure! RE: The FA cup thread - Thurnscoe_OWL - 06-01-2015 Yeah I was trying to figure out the live games. MU for sure, probs Brighton v Arse and Donny/Brizzle v Everton/W.Ham RE: The FA cup thread - St Charles Owl - 06-01-2015 Not sure how many games they show live but you could also add Brum v WBA and maybe Rochdale v Stoke, both of those are potential upsets. RE: The FA cup thread - Thurnscoe_OWL - 06-01-2015 I think they've shown 4 this round (BBC that is). Think BT have a game tomorrow (Everton v W.Ham? ![]() RE: The FA cup thread - Owlkev71 - 06-01-2015 Liverpool v Bolton Cambridge v Man U Brighton V Arsenal Man C v Middlesbrough As many big teams as possible will be the live games, they need the money ![]() RE: The FA cup thread - St Charles Owl - 06-01-2015 Is that the games that have been chosen?? I can understand the middle two but the others are purely for audience ratings rather than the prospect of a cup upset or a cracking game!! RE: The FA cup thread - Owlkev71 - 06-01-2015 Thats my guess SCO, should have stated that ![]() RE: The FA cup thread - St Charles Owl - 06-01-2015 Everton are also losing at home to West Ham, more pressure on Martinez?? |
