If you can keep up the form you had against Fulham, yes. Play like the first 85 minutes against us, not a bleeding chances, mate.

Well with the B;ham game, that's 3pts we won't get.  Well 15pts be enough? Answer NO

Good thoughts m'Lord.  I does seem we have two different Albion teams playing each match.
Seems though the rest of the baggie supporters don't have an opinion. Angel

BBB,

Definitely agree with the two different Albion teams, one is shocking the other is only piss poor.

As for your other point, I have lost more and more interest in football since the inception of the greed league and the FA's elite club of six. As such I find it hard to summon the interest to worry about any results, including ours. We have been so up and down, I think most baggie fans have got motion sickness and to predict our games .... Well I am not brave enough to try.

Just another greed league kick in the teeth for medium sized clubs and ordinary fans. From next season premier league clubs can use five substitutes, if you have a man city, Chelsea etc size squad then you can replace half your team of over paid superstars for another half of over paid superstars. A complete tactical switch can be made. Teams with 40 top international players again get a massive advantage over everton, wolves, vile, Norwich etc and what hope for promoted teams to compete even with low end greed leaguers. Status quo becomes even more entrenched.

RE: RUN IN POINTS - Blue Baggie - 06-04-2022

We have a new manager who uses the same players, until they get dropped and the kids come in nothing will change. If you bake a horrid cake and you use the same ingredients on the next one why the flippin heck you expect it to be any better. Change it Steve or clear off and let someone else have a go.

RE: RUN IN POINTS - Baggiebob(BBB) - 07-04-2022

You could almost predict - well I did - that Albion would win last night. The team formation was much better, and Carroll  seemed tireless on the field showing the effort that was needed. Trouble is we play Stoke this weekend and the result will be .......... Doh or ruddy well played lads cos with this team you never know.

RE: RUN IN POINTS - Baggiebob(BBB) - 13-04-2022

APRIL
3 BIRMINGHAM - A - 3PTS OOPS--O PTS
6 BOURNEMOUTH - H - 3PTS ---- 3 PTS
9 STOKE - H - 3PTS ---- 0pts .... OOPS
15 BLACKPOOL - H - 1PT .......... NOW 3 PTS
18 NOTTS FOREST - A - OPTS
23 COVENTRY - H - 3PTS
30 READING - A - 3PTS

MAY
7 BARNSLEY - H - 3PTS

TOTAL 13PTS - WILL IT BE ENOUGH TO GET IN THE PLAY-OFFS?  WE NEED ALL WINS TO STAND A CHANCE WITH ABOVE US TEAMS LOSING POINTS.
LATEST: WE HAVE SIX OF THEM - CAN WE BEAT FOREST, COS IF WE DO THAT WILL BE A BIGGIE BOOST IF OTHER TEAMS LOSE POINTS

RE: RUN IN POINTS - BaggieSteve - 13-04-2022

I have a feeling BaggieBob's prediction of 10 points from the last five fixtures may be somewhat optimistic, if our recent performances against Blues and Stoke are any yardstick. We seem to have to have a mental block or "can't be arsed" attitude when playing those not at the top of the table. So, I'm predicting a hard fought defeat at Forest and abject capitulation against the rest; in other words SFA.

RE: RUN IN POINTS - Stairs - 13-04-2022

I have already given up. I hate it when we get to the situation where we need miracles to happen. No point stressing myself out.

The club just needs to get on with planning for a full rebuild.

RE: RUN IN POINTS - Baggiebob(BBB) - 18-04-2022

A win against Forest will be a big boost to get in the six, especially with other teams above losing points.

Though I don't want us to be promoted and come straight down, the extra positional money will be welcomed for next season.

Has anyone any knowledge what the position money placings earn?
