Saido scores a hat trick - 4evaabaggie - 12-03-2022 Berahino has scored a hat trick either side of half time for the owls, should we have, should we still give him a chance for redemption in the hallowed stripes. He has stated his regrets about how he left and a wish to return to complete his unfinished business. Do we forgive and hope he can score the goals we are so desperate for? Any views??????? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just viewed his seasons figures, played 20, 5 goals, 3 assists. Not sure if they include today's figures. If they do not a great return for league one, if they don't still not brilliant for a striker that once was outscoring Harry Kane. RE: Saido scores a hat trick - St Charles Owl - 12-03-2022 I haven't seen enough from him yet to suggest he could be ready to step up to the Championship. He was brilliant today and the one thing we are seeing is as we play him his confidence is growing, he is making the runs and flicks and is getting used to his team mates. Most of his appearances until recently have been as a sub, so wouldn't hold that against him. He now has 6 league goals this season for us at a strike rate of one a goal every 180 minutes of play. RE: Saido scores a hat trick - drewks - 12-03-2022 As a "kid" - definitely a bad attitude. But had a fantastic ability. If he's learned as a person, he could still be a top goal scorer at the highest level IMHO RE: Saido scores a hat trick - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 12-03-2022 Yeah, Saido always had the necessary raw talent that was sadly derailed by ego, dodgy "friends", rank immaturity, and a constant unwillingness to work hard and stay fit. If he's finally grown the everloving f**k up, then I'm sure that natural goalscoring knack will return with a bit of confidence. He'll be 29 this summer though, so probably entering now-or-never territory for a return to the Premier League. RE: Saido scores a hat trick - Maddix - 12-03-2022 It will be never if he returns to the Albion ![]() |
