Hibs v St Johnstone, Sat 5 March, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 03-03-2022

This match will be played in front of one of the biggest home crowds of the season as Hibs generous offer of £5 per match tickets has been scooped up by 1000s of grateful Hibs fans. It also "tells a story" re many fans not being able to afford the usual prices for match tickets. Anyway, ER Stadium should be "buzzing" with a great atmosphere hopefully attached to this big crowd. I wanna see the Hibs team lifted considerably by this crowd and responding positively with real commitment and purpose to win this match. As usual, my main concern is Hibs not fielding any striker or forward who can actually score a goal from decent positions in opponents' pen boxes. This has to change in order to win this match or someone else has to "step up" to score the requisite goal(s). They are battling to avoid relegation and will not be an easy pushover. Gotta earn the result! C'mon Hibs, don't disappoint all those Hibs fans who will be "rooting" for you!!

FT 0-0 and all I can say is I should've betted on this result and made some money out of it. Playing in front of such a huge crowd on a lovely afternoon for footie and they could only muster one shot on goal in the 1st half. Ross Co now one point behind Hibs and I reckon the Staggies will overtake Hibs position in the next fortnight. As soon as that happens, IMO I would like Hibs to immediately sack Hibs CE or Maloney, possibly even both of them. IMO Hibs ST holders/fans and shareholders have been "sold a pup" since the January transfer period and someone needs to take the blame on ruining a footie season through utter folly in judgement and decision-making.
Maloney's post match interview finally revealing the fact the "honeymoon is over" and admitting the performances have not been good enough. He took some criticism from certain shareholders at last Tuesday's AGM: effectively telling him in no uncertain terms that his style of footie is shite, not the Hibs way of playing the game.

Boring game and typical result, St Johnstone are rank and we are rank. Maloneys style of football is boring, we are not Belgium and aren't good enough to play this style of play, I already think he's out of his depth and can't listen to his after match thoughts. I'm not convinced by the owner either, talks a good plan but it's starting to all sound like smoke and mirrors, alot of fans won't be back next season or the remainder of this one, Hibs fans deserve a lot better than this pish at present.
