Paul Cook Returns - Dancingwilldoit - 10-02-2022 Oh well, not my chosen appointment but will just have to see how things turn out. Bobs board all wetting their knickers re gods return. If we do win the league, I have still got a full humble pie in the freezer from the last time I made a wrong call which tells me something. At least Danny Webb remains as assistant. I just hope we haven't blown the player budget on the new manager. and he listens to his assistant. Didnt make the Stockport game but it sounded a good game until the sending off. King really does need to wind it in a bit. Its not the first time he has let the side down. RE: Paul Cook Returns - Devongone - 10-02-2022 I suppose I ought to be happy. Saturday is very important for us. We can get points, whilst our rivals can only get more games to play, or a disappointing defeat. But we have to take our new manager, keep our old team spirit and win. I think if we do it will be down to Danny Webb. AND the players! I'd usually come down on King like a ton of bricks, but I'd rather have too committed than the opposite. Sometimes when you lose that edge you find you've got half the player don't you? It's a hard one. But a draw was a good result for us and a huge disappointment for Stockport. Capacity crowd though, how good is that for National League football a couple of days after Boreham Wood took down Bournemouth. |
