It's lights/camera/action for Albion this weekend as our final fixture before the international break takes us to London Road for a Saturday night televised showdown against Peterborough. With the inevitable League Cup exit out of the way, we're free to concentrate on a promotion campaign that's got off to as good a start as could realistically be hoped, and gun for another positive result to add to the growing collection.

Peterborough, back in the Championship after a good few years of mid-table League One anonymity, have had mixed success since their return, a dramatic and highly creditable home win against Derby the sole victory amidst a thumping at Luton, a 2-0 lead squandered late versus Cardiff and a fresh defeat at Preston last weekend. Though Darren Ferguson - in his own second stint at the club - has re-signed once-prolific fan favourite Jack Marriott from Derby, it's Harrison Burrows and Siriki Dembele who've been the goal-suppliers so far for the Posh, and they'll be the ones to watch on Saturday night alongside League One hotshot Jonson Scott Clarke-Harris (who's also a prize candidate for this year's Footballers Who Could Arrange Their Names In Any Order & Still Have A Workable Moniker award).

It's our first league encounter with Peterborough since doing a double over them in 2009, though they held us to a stalemate a couple of times in the FA Cup in 2016 despite a two-division gulf. In fact, their only league triumph in this fixture (from six attempts thus far) was also their most recent win to date, courtesy of Chris Turner achieving a 2-0 win over Burkinshaw's Baggies in January 1994. It's a long time to wait for success against Albion, and hopefully we can make them wait longer still.

Must win today to justify the mid week selection.

I for one had no problem with watching our youngster play other than it highlighted them to the thieving Premier League clubs (Villa, City to name but two) as it showed we still had talent coming through.

But today has to be a masterclass.

This is the sort of game that we just have to win - no disrespect to Posh, but..... well, you know

Adil Nabi.

Grant is a total donkey. Every time he gets the ball he does not know what to do with it and gives it away.

Surely he can’t come out for second half!

Excellent work both! (Though probably a damning verdict on the quality of the match so far).

BREED URINE remains up for grabs.

Lower-league journeyman. Had a punt on him because he scored bags of goals in League Two one year. Didn't amount to much, went on his way, has spent the last decade doing a tour of every club in the southwest.
