Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - 0762 - 15-08-2021 Well it's League Cup business on the agenda at ER Stadium tomorrow and it looks like a decent match to follow that disappointing loss to HNK Rijeka on Thursday. Hibs without Doidgy and Paul Hanlon, but should still have enough player resources to take on this cup tie and win it. I think our main concern is the jolt to Hibs confidence levels in Croatia and what impact it has on the guys. IMO it is up to Jack Ross to "lift spirits" and "go again". C'mon Hibs! GGTTH RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - HerefordBull - 15-08-2021 May be a tough afternoon. Chris Burke and the Killie attack looked good when I saw them a couple of weeks ago. Burke looked really sharp and was putting a lot of crosses into the box..........we are so good at defending these! ![]() Would be more confident if we had sold some tickets but for a number of reasons Hibs fans have chosen to stay away. Killie I believe have sold out so they will have a good following all in the South part of the West so will produce a good nucleus of sound for their team. Its up to Hibs to keep them quiet but they certainly won't have a large home support to help. ![]() GGTTH RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - hibeejim21 - 15-08-2021 Does anyone know whats happening with doig ? RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - 0762 - 15-08-2021 I heard a recent mention that Doidgy is out for 6 weeks. Possibly not a full rupture then? Still not sure re the full diagnosis of his injury. Also re Doig's transfer situ - no offers albeit a lotta interest in Doig. RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - HerefordBull - 15-08-2021 Doidge out till at least xmas Good second half to put away a decent Killie side, 2.0 Well done Hibs. GGTTH RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - 0762 - 15-08-2021 Aye! FT and a decent 2-0 Hibs win although Killie came up with a solid push on Hibs defence in the 1st half and we "dodged a bullet" with that great Killie shot that cannoned off Hibs crossbar, Macey beaten "all ends up". Hibs far better in the second half with Joe Newell the midfield kingpin and involved in setting up another Magennis goal - our new goal getter - gie the baw tae Magennis eh!! Then we have a really bizarre ref incident again in the 2nd half, a Madden judgement call, a maddening one for the Hibs support!! Nisbet chasing a "through ball/pass" with the last Killie defender who "pulls up" with what looked like a hamstring injury, Nisbet running through on the Killie goalie and Madden stops play????? Anyway Kevin Nisbet not deterred and finishes them off later on with that crucial second goal. Well done Hibs and in the QF draw!! GGTTH RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - hibeejim21 - 15-08-2021 Very good 2nd half, with Newell pulling the strings. Bar the last quarter of a tough European game we have started this season really well. Madden once again proving himself to be an absolute dick and very much for the watching in fixtures featuring us. No way would he have pulled that shit at ibrox. And then the creepy stare and laugh at towards the crowd afterwards - he's a xxxx radge. Today's shocker and also how he didn't send off his pal Halliday at tynecastle is just a taster of what this xxxx will be up to this season. RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - 0762 - 16-08-2021 Yep Jim! I've studied this c### for a long time and there is something biased and rotten about this guy particularly when it involves officiating certain footie clubs and the Huns of course. That decision today was outrageous with no reference to any clear set out footie rule to justify his decision - IT WAS NOT A HEAD INJURY FOR THE KILLIE DEFENDER EITHER!!! RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - hibeejim21 - 17-08-2021 Sheep in for Boyle - 500k bid booted out !! RE: Hibs v Killie, Sunday 15 August - 0762 - 17-08-2021 Apparently there's a release clause to that value in Boyly's contract. But it only applies to bids outwith Scotland. Boyly is originally from Aberdeen. What a predatory move by them eh - Hibs rise in challenging them for 3rd spot in the Scot Prem curtailed and they take one of Hibs most influential players!! ![]() |
