Scottish Cup: Stranraer v Hibs, Sunday 18 April - 0762 - 12-04-2021
This fixture moved to Sunday due to a clash with Saturday's DOE funeral arrangement on Saturday afternoon.
This is definitely a match in which I just wanna see Hibs do a professional job in winning it v inferior opponents and quickly move on to our next Scot Prem match. C'mon Hibs, no messing about please!!

With celtic playing The rangers it gives one of the other clubs an opportunity to get to the final.

JR's starting line up announced - two changes and Macey plus Magennis given the goalie and mid attacking places respectively in a hi-press attacking side. C'mon Hibs! Lets win it and move on!
0-0 and Nisbet and Doidge are awful in front of the Stranraer goal! Dunno what Nisbet was thinking about from 4 yds and perfectly set up by Boyd - hits the baw about 4 yds past the post!! IMO easier to score.
Goooaaalll - at last, the Hibs pressure finally pays off - 0-1 a Doidgy goal!

Professional performance all round on a difficult pitch v a bunch of cloggers.
Our finishing remains a concern at times but you cant argue with 0-4. Next up Motherwell.
Laughing at these jambos on twitter moaning about the draw being kind to us - who put them out ffs ?

Could've been 0-7 or 0-8 on another day. Nisbet's post match interview said it all when he admitted he could've picked up two match balls if his striking had've been better.

Nisbet off-song yet again. Even his goal was courtesy of a huge deflection. One of these days.....
Now it's the projected game against Motherwell. Our play is deserving of bigger wins, so it's the same old problem. Get it sorted, Hibs.
