His contract expiring in the summer, this deal looks like a good piece of business by Hibs to hold on to Newell and hopefully get the best out him in the next couple of seasons.

Aye good news.
Also trying to get a longer term for Josh Doig................if he continues his development he will move to bigger and better things but at least we will get a nice fee for him.
....................and just announced Doig signs a contract till 2025.

Yep! Another good piece of business as a lotta top footie clubs at home and abroad monitoring his progress. He has the physique, confidence and athleticism to advance to a higher standard of footie elsewhere in Europe.
