WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 12-02-2021 Difficult as it now is to summon up much enthusiasm for what remains of this slow-motion train crash of a season, it ploughs on regardless, with Manchester United the next team in the queue to heap misery on us. Chasing their first title since 2013 - the year that Lukaku spoiled their victory party at the Hawthorns - they come down the M6 less than a fortnight after dishing out a 9-0 shoeing to Southampton. Romelu may be long gone, but you'd get decent odds on another ten-goal thriller this Sunday, just as long as you didn't share the goals out quite as evenly as they were last time. We gave them a run for their money at Old Trafford in the autumn, even with the ref on their side, but this weekend it's just a question of avoiding a Valentine's Day Massacre. Anything else is a bonus, to use the phrase that's in danger of becoming our club motto. RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - drewks - 13-02-2021 Oh em gee. Hoping for a typical Baggie performance... 2- 2 RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 13-02-2021 13 points from safety as it stands with Burnley winning 2-0 away at Palace. The first time we did the great escape, I always felt there was hope, this time I have to make the effort to check the score. Perhaps it is all the covid stuff so no fans at games, or maybe it is just the team are not giving me anything to be hopeful about. RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - Stairs - 13-02-2021 All I hear about is how much can Man Utd improve their Goal Difference in this game. This if what everyone thinks about this game and the threat we offer. I just hope we can lift out game. 4-0 is 500-1 ? Presume 4-0 to US is 500-1? 4-0 to them is probably evens! RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - Blue Baggie - 14-02-2021 We have certainly forgotten how to grind a result out. If Sam plays for a win I will go for a 2 - 1. However if he plays for a draw I fear another heavy defeat. You cannot let this Man U team play, you have to get amongst them. Southampton let them dominate, say no more. RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 14-02-2021 Yokuşlu starts today. The team looks like it could be either 4141 with Pereira and Snodgrass outwide and Yokuşlu as the 6 or 4411 with Snodgrass and AM-N or Gallagher as the wide players and Periera behind Diagne. RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - Baggie_One - 14-02-2021 Sweet baby Jesus RE: WBA vs Man Utd - Match Thread - Lord Snooty - 14-02-2021 Glad you scored there but I have to question VAR again. What's the point of it if it allows that? He's nearly taken Lindelof's face off there. ![]() Nicely timed half time whistle. ![]() |
