RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Salopbaggie - 30-08-2017 Sky now reporting they expect the deal for Krychowiak to be completed today, very reminisce of the Lakaku senario a couple of years ago, apart from this is just a loan. Show me the shirt!!! RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Slick_Footwork - 30-08-2017 (30-08-2017, 13:08)WBA-Josh Wrote: Gibbs is a great signing and finally gives us a natural left back. I also hope we sign both Krykowiak and Souza because they are different types of players. Krykowiak is a tough tackling holding midfielder whereas Souza is a tall, tough tackling central midfielder with Brazilian flair. I suspect it will be one or the other with Krykowiak or Souza, but it would certainly be a signal of intent if we signed both of them. Give us a lot more legs, pace and ability to break up play in the midfield as well as pass the ball forward with a bit more incision! Dawson ........ Evans .............. Hegazi Nyom ..........................................................................Gibbs ................Livermore ............ Greg ![]() .................................J Rod ................Rondon/Burke? A..n .. Other ? RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - WBA-Josh - 30-08-2017 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4836014/PSG-ace-Grzegorz-Krychowiak-having-medical-West-Brom.html The above article says about Krychowiak possibly signing and it also says "Pulis is also keen on Burnley striker Ashley Barnes, while they are hopeful of signing Souza from Fenerbahce." http://www.squawka.com/news/grzegorz-krychowiaks-playing-style-explained-and-why-hes-the-perfect-pulis-signing-analysis/985774#9BLugkz78vH0bp2P.97 That is definitely an option Beefy. I think Tony initially will look into sticking with the 4-1-4-1 that has worked well so far. GK - Foster RB - Nyom CB - Dawson CB - Evans (Hegazi if Evans leaves) LB - Gibbs DM - Krychowiak RM - Phillips or Burke CM - Livermore CM - Morrison or Souza LM - Rodriguez ST - Rondon, HRK or new striker RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Beefy 1965 - 30-08-2017 After all theses names must admit we are a good striker away from having a really good squad That's why Barnes from Burnley is a tad disappointing TBH I'm Impressed with our window this summer so far so can't be to grumpy But just for a Kevin Phillips it would be perfect now Make it happen tone ![]() Crike Josh !!!!! I forgot about Phillips ![]() How exciting could this team be ![]() However those who say this loan aint cost us nothing according to reports we are paying him . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . 115 K a week Well reported figure , Even CL cant believe it ![]() Chris Lepkowski @chrislepkowski 6m6 minutes ago More £115k a week? Blimey Thats over £ 5million for the season ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Salopbaggie - 30-08-2017 (30-08-2017, 14:34)Beefy 1965 Wrote: Well reported figure , Even CL cant believe it Plus the loan fee "guessing at around £3m" ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Beefy 1965 - 30-08-2017 I know Greg and his Wife really well ![]() She has always had a soft spot for me ........... Can't wait to meet up again, being at the Baggies now I'm sure she will succumb to my charms ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Worldclassalbion - 30-08-2017 (30-08-2017, 13:08)WBA-Josh Wrote: Gibbs is a great signing and finally gives us a natural left back. Josh after watching Yacob since the day he signed I personally would have him in before Livermore every day of the week. I haven't seen Souza play though to be honest mate. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - tidy - 30-08-2017 ...and there's me thinking NOBODY wants to sign for our Tony... ![]() Could be a lesson learnt for all the doom-and-gloom merchants out there. |
