I would be amazed and very happy as well but as good as he is, which of our multitude of defensive midfielders are we going to lose to free up a place?
Of course he is better than most, if not all our current DM's, but even TP would not play 4 DM's across the middle would he............................... hmm, well may be.
I though would always be a little hesitant to bring in a loan and then put signed first team players on the bench for a year or next year we will be looking for 2 new DM's. Personally i would like to see the team spending time on finding a couple of attacking midfielders which I hope they are as well
Unless of course he comes with the option to buy, geez I want my cake and eat it.

Flipping back to Burke for a post, loved these comments by Mark McGhee the assistant Scotland coach
“We played England at Wembley and trained at Barnet before the game,” revealed McGhee. “We were walking off the training pitch towards the changing rooms at one corner of the pitch.
“Oliver was in front of me and a ball rolled over and he was maybe five yards from the touchline and five yards from the by-line and did one of these ‘Rabonas’ with his left foot — bear in mind he’s right-footed. I couldn’t do it with my right foot! Well, the ball flew to the back post. I’d never seen anything like it.
“It was outstanding — the power and the accuracy and that’s what he has. I’ve never seen anyone quicker in all my years in the game. He now has to apply that to his game.
“He’s still raw even though he’s been in Germany. I hope the German way has rubbed off on him.”
Burke is traditionally a right winger, but Pulis says he can play on either wing and as a striker too. It’s a sentiment echoed by McGhee.
“We all feel that one of Oliver’s potential positions is through the middle,” said McGhee. “With the pace he’s got it may be that — away from home — if they can get the ball in behind for him running after it, nobody will catch him.

This is brilliant - I take back all complaints. This is a squad, a real squad now, just a striker to add and it will be no complaints from me. Unless they all get stuck in reserves and don't get to play!

This guy would walk into most sides and if we land him on loan this will be the coup of the window for a team of our stature. Fingers well and truly crossed that the Perce is right!
Personally though, although probably a little bit naively; if we can somehow hold onto Evans that would be the signing of the window for me. We cannot underestimate how well Jonny has played since signing for us and to lose him for anything less than £30m would be daylight robbery.

I'm with young Beefy on this one.
Until a contract has been signed and he's photographed holding up a Baggies shirt I for one won't believe these media stories. Of course it would be an excellent loan but let's wait and see. Too many cases of this type of speculation in the past for us only to end up disappointed.

His surname is pronounced as Kree-koh-vee-ack so good luck finding a song to fit.
