RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - betterthanbaird - 29-08-2017 Gibbs could be a good signing if he stays fit and he's an actual left back. Waiting this long to sort the Gibbs deal does seem to have saved us a fair bit of money. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Stairs - 29-08-2017 £5m Gibbs getting a medical - this is a great deal, assuming he stays fit and is played in the right position RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - BaggieSteve - 29-08-2017 (29-08-2017, 15:58)Stairs Wrote: £5m Gibbs getting a medical - this is a great deal, assuming he stays fit and is played in the right position That'll be in goal then, Stairs ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - 4evaabaggie - 29-08-2017 Where did £5m come from .... thought it was 7 RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Worldclassalbion - 29-08-2017 (29-08-2017, 17:32)4evaabaggie Wrote: Where did £5m come from .... thought it was 7 Think £5m up front then another £2m in add ons 4evaa RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - 4evaabaggie - 29-08-2017 Cheers worldclass,, £5m is a bargain, even rising by £2m, still a good deal. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - BaggieSteve - 29-08-2017 Although, like most fans, I get frustrated by Albion's approach to transfers, perhaps the Gibbs' transfer, assuming it takes place, vindicates this policy as the fee seems to have gone down from north of £10million to ~£5million. If he does sign I'll be delighted as I think he's a very good player and he's actually a left back. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - betterthanbaird - 29-08-2017 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/08/29/west-brom-launch-audacious-bid-sign-grzegorz-krychowiak-psg/ Please be true, he's meant to be an excellent player and has been linked with plenty of bigger clubs, I know Leicester are meant to be in for him too, so we shouldn't get our hopes up. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (29 August) - Foxman_WBA - 29-08-2017 Apparantly we have made a loan deal for PSG Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. This would be a massive coup if we could get him in!
