Gibbs could be a good signing if he stays fit and he's an actual left back. Waiting this long to sort the Gibbs deal does seem to have saved us a fair bit of money.

£5m Gibbs getting a medical - this is a great deal, assuming he stays fit and is played in the right position

Cheers worldclass,, £5m is a bargain, even rising by £2m, still a good deal.

Although, like most fans, I get frustrated by Albion's approach to transfers, perhaps the Gibbs' transfer, assuming it takes place, vindicates this policy as the fee seems to have gone down from north of £10million to ~£5million. If he does sign I'll be delighted as I think he's a very good player and he's actually a left back.

Please be true, he's meant to be an excellent player and has been linked with plenty of bigger clubs, I know Leicester are meant to be in for him too, so we shouldn't get our hopes up.

Apparantly we have made a loan deal for PSG Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. This would be a massive coup if we could get him in!
