RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - Arcane Astral Aeons - 25-08-2017 seriously some people on here are unbelievable bloody moaning because we aint signed anyone when we do .....what do we get waste of money...never heard of him...injury prone who do you expect us to sign? a world class LB...RB..Striker? get real yes the money is there we cant compete with the moneybags sides and besides we are a dull and boring side maybe if we occasionally played attractive football maybe just maybe......we could attract better players RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - 4evaabaggie - 25-08-2017 Quantum, I see where your coming from, although we're all on here because we love the Albion, I am concerned at our lack of signings because we lack numbers, I may moan a little as we seem to take to long and loose out, how much is paper talk we as fans will never know, we all want the best for our club and can't help but get sucked in by media mischief, hopes raised than dashed cause frustrations ........ I worry about signing old players or injury prone players again due to squad size and the risk of not having sufficient players of quality to see out the season .... check out last season's collapse. I complain at the risk before their signed but will get behind every player in blue and white once their here and playing. We as fans would run thorough walls for Albion and as long as the players do the same I am happy. We all pull together, some have higher expectations, some have more hope ...... we're all different and show our hopes and fears in different ways, as long as we all sing our hearts out once they cross the chalk what's the harm in a little moan and whine. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - Salopbaggie - 26-08-2017 (25-08-2017, 23:28)4evaabaggie Wrote: Quantum, I see where your coming from, although we're all on here because we love the Albion, I am concerned at our lack of signings because we lack numbers, I may moan a little as we seem to take to long and loose out, how much is paper talk we as fans will never know, we all want the best for our club and can't help but get sucked in by media mischief, hopes raised than dashed cause frustrations ........ or mead and wine for that matter ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - 4evaabaggie - 26-08-2017 I prefer bucket loads of vodka ...... help to dull the pain of 30% possession. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - wba1978 - 26-08-2017 Offer made for Josef Souza apparently Brazilian CM from Fenerbahce 10 mil euros http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/899502732?-11200:789:0 Apparently we also want Sakho for 30 mil... http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/899506725?-11200:789:0 http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/899500245?-11200:789:0 Surely not ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - 4evaabaggie - 26-08-2017 Don't want to spend that much on him .... he'd rather be playing for Simon the knob Jordan at palace ... so let him RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - drewks - 26-08-2017 As always the strings will be pulled by the mega rich - if City DO offer silly money for Evans it'll result in us needing an additional CB and possibly giving us the dosh to try for another on our wish list. It's not us I feel sorry for, it's the lower league clubs at the bottom of this feeding frenzy who'll be struggling to get bodies in in time. Fekin absurd! RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - GlassEyedBomber - 26-08-2017 I'm relatively happy with our squad, I'd actually prefer to keep Field than loan some Benfica youth prospect who will no doubt be out of our price range should he have a good season. As for the defence, you put McAuley back amongst it and we only really need another one even if Evans was to go. Nyom can play there if desperate and I'm sure Kane Wilson could fill in at right back if necessary. I'll concede that the left back situation is a bit of a concern but if Brunty is happy to play there I'm ok with that, he probably wouldn't slot straight into that midfield? All in all, a striker would be nice, a centre and left back are probably priorities but I'm not panicking yet, 2 wins from 2 with cleansheets, who needs Jonny Evans? ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - 4evaabaggie - 26-08-2017 Talk (rumours) that Jonas may be about to return to England, possible a move to Ipswich ...... if he does wish him well, great player no longer up to pre m standard for a whole season ....... thoughts. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 August) - BaggieMan - 26-08-2017 (26-08-2017, 13:56)4evaabaggie Wrote: Talk (rumours) that Jonas may be about to return to England, possible a move to Ipswich ...... if he does wish him well, great player no longer up to pre m standard for a whole season ....... thoughts. Agreed 4eva. A great servant to the club apart from the few occasional blips such as when he had an on-field go at the BRE. I always thought he would have been a good captain of the club and wish him well if he does come back to play here. |
