RE: Cathro/Hertz - ritchiebaby - 06-08-2017 Just as an aside, Thomson herself is criticising the SNP leadership. RE: Cathro/Hertz - 0762 - 06-08-2017 On off topic comments that I try not to raise on a footie board (esp re politics that I'd endeavour to place on 'Abstract Chat') I will say that was the one big disappointment that Thomson 'went public' rather than 'bite yer tongue lassie' and get on with the real battle/objective to acquire independence and don't get involved in all these wee irrelevances that the MSM dream up as regular as clockwork and particularly during this boring period when they have very little to talk about!!! Sure Thomson was 'hard done by' but it was a tough decision for the SNP to distance themselves from this 'smear campaign' of the highest order with a bigger agenda attached to it (dig up as much dirt against the SNP as possible and f### any poor innocent individual like Thomson who is a member anyway!!) but they did it and Sturgeon herself said at the time during 1st Minister's questions quote: 'Michelle Thomson has not been charged with anything and a subsequent enquiry/investigation will eventually clear up this matter'. Thomson was never charged at any point, there was no fraud case to refer to from day 1 and the story epitomises the hate campaign against the SNP/Sturgeon - enemies of the disunited Kingdom!!!! Thomson should be suing the bbc for starters but she aint doing it - the bbc tv and radio reporting of her 'fraud case' was an absolutely inaccurate and manipulative piece of disgraceful journalism that insinuated to many unsuspecting members of the public that Michelle Thomson was 'guilty of fraud' or 'guilty of something' and that a 'fraud case' actually existed - total garbage and an outrage to the human rights of any individual in this country, never mind Thomson who in fact volunteered to 'clear her name'!! As for the bbc, they didn't even apologise last week, which they should've done - they even initially mentioned the words 'fraud case' AGAIN but I gather they/Nick Eardsley were finally forced to apologise and remove this detail and then moved on to another anti SNP irrelevance AGAIN!!!As said previously, that's the country we live in - ask the majority of people in Liverpool who have endured these kinda press + UK govt outrages/inaccuracies/deceptions that we are continually witnessing in Scotland and have been observing often enough 'down south'!! It's not even close to subtle unionist journalism any more - the reporting is so f###### brazen and blatant until they hope the majority of voting Scots (and others) finally decide that the SNP can f#### off now and have had their time (lets have a scumbag Tory govt eh!!) or more n more free-thinking Scots, who stop reading this shit and give the worst bbc anti Scotland/SNP reporting/shit a 'wide berth' as well, start seeing through the 'propaganda and brainwashing' that these pro unionist 'low lifes' will continue to drip feed through their pro union newspapers and their bbc infiltrators. Btw the Rodgers' opinion re Hearts is just another one of these 'irrelevances' similarly conjured up by people with their own set agenda during a boring period of footie affairs that have not 'stirred up the imagination' TBF. Rodgers thankfully didn't 'take the bait' and 'kept it brief' - not a 'stoopid' man as we all know just by mere observation of the pragmatic way he practises! RE: Cathro/Hertz - hibeejim21 - 07-08-2017 I think Rodgers has been getting more irritated with the press and the idiotic line of questions they pursue in Scotland,it's starting to creep into some of his responses. As for the new manager, heard they have had talks with michael o'neill Thursday/Friday last week. RE: Cathro/Hertz - Fredstersafool - 07-08-2017 I'd be delighted with him Jim but I'll no hold my breath RE: Cathro/Hertz - hibeejim21 - 07-08-2017 He'd be great fit for you mate. RE: Cathro/Hertz - hibeejim21 - 09-08-2017 Talks with o'neill hit a brick wall apparently,he wants to see the world cup campaign out with NI and his contract with the association has a release clause of over a million. Other names being linked are either damaged goods like coyle or freedman, unfeasible like McLaren or tommy wright,or just plain loony tunes like davids. If daly gets a couple of reasonable results it wouldnae surprise me if he got it. RE: Cathro/Hertz - Fredstersafool - 10-08-2017 Don't Jim just dont RE: Cathro/Hertz - hibeejim21 - 10-08-2017 I noticed boothroyd has been linked. He could be worth a shot, got a lot of experience developing young players. RE: Cathro/Hertz - hibeejim21 - 28-08-2017 After all that it looks like potter is appointing himself as the new manager at the PBS. ![]() I mean WTF ? ![]() RE: Cathro/Hertz - 0762 - 28-08-2017 Surprise, surprise Jim!! You've heard of the 'spy who came in from the cold'! Well this possible 'sudden return' to the limelight will certainly be a wee energiser for Levein's ego and it raises that previous question re such an appointment being nothing more than a money-saving exercise? |
