Sunderland 1 Derby 1
Decent game piss poor defending for Derby's goal, definitely a penalty although wouldn't have been given in the opposition box at Deepdale. Both had chances in the second half, Nugent missed a sitter at the end. Suspect Larry will be happy, number of North Enders involved on and off the pitch staggering

Hudds 1 Toon 0
Deserved home win, Noocastle destined to struggle , Rafa to walk out mid October and Mike Ashley to get fatter, nice goal by the bald headed Mooy, piece of cake this Premiership lark for Town for now.

RE: On the box - Amelia Chaffinch - 21-08-2017

We were speculating last night that Rafa would be the first out. He wasn't saying anything positive prematch.

RE: On the box - themaclad - 21-08-2017

Depends on transfers for Rafa if he gets zilch in he'll be off AC.

City 1 Everton 1
Some abysmal diving mainly by City, some iffy reffing, do know Everton have some decent young players and to beat Pickford it needs to be a worldie

RE: On the box - Lord Snooty - 21-08-2017

I thought the Walker one was a second yellow although the Everton lad made a right meal of it.
The Schneiderlin second yellow was just plain and simple cheating by Aguero.

RE: On the box - St Charles Owl - 21-08-2017

Walker's second yellow was soft to say the least!! Schneiderlin's second yellow was a definite yellow for me, how much contact he made was debatable but the challenge was reckless.

RE: On the box - themaclad - 22-08-2017

Thought the Everton got the ball however does seems refs are trying to do away with tackling

RE: On the box - Lord Snooty - 22-08-2017

The ref last night, Bobby Madly, is a Huddersfield Town fan. What he's doing is making sure our rivals are getting their best players suspended. Big Grin
It got a bit pathetic last season when Benitez complained about him last season. Didn't want a Town fan reffing their match. Wasn't even him either. It was his brother who isn't a Town fan. Laugh

RE: On the box - themaclad - 22-08-2017

And his horrible brother did our match on Saturday and booked Pearson for breathing

RE: On the box - Lord Snooty - 22-08-2017

Well when you get a reputation as a serial breather....... Rolleyes
