That was a good, comprehensive challenge by this pair throughout the tournament and in adversity during certain matches - a well earned and well deserved US Open doubles title! Thumb up

Andy 'on the charge' in China! Thumb up The China Open title 'in the bag' and he plays Simone in today's Shanghai Open semi-final with Djokovic already eliminated in the other semi-final. History beckons for Andy and more records prob broken - IMO it won't be emulated by any other British tennis player for a long, long time!

Andy does indeed win the Shanghai Open title and defeats Agut in 2 sets - back to back titles in China - legendary status endorsed even more! Thumb up

Catching Djokovic up for that number one spot.

Ok, educate me, what will it take for him to make up those 915 points??

Well you get a thousand for the ATP1000 series tournaments, which this one was. Not sure how many you get for grand slams.

If Murray wins the Vienna and Paris titles, he will be the world number 1 if Djokovic fails to reach the Paris final.
