If that's true I will be absolutely gutted for him. He did look in all sorts of trouble when he went off though so I think it's probably quite likely.

Roy Hodgson wins the Euros for England with Berahino scoring a hat trick against Germany in the finals. Roy receives his knighthood and retires from the England job to take the position of Technical Director at West Bromwich Albion.

In his first week Sir Roy signs Berahino to a long term contract with the club, persuades Dan Ashworth to return and sacks Tony Pulis. With five exciting new signings the subsequent season sees Albion return to attacking football entertaining full houses at the Hawthorns.

Meanwhile Norwich manager Tony Pulis was given the freedom of the city for saving them from relegation for the second season in a row leaving Norwich as the 17th richest football club in the World!!

With the new tv super deal which I believe was signed some time ago, I can not see them going anywhere for quite a while. Major court cases if they were to try and walk away from the Greed League I would guess.
