RE: Berahino - betterthanbaird - 06-09-2015 Anyone get the sense that the club may have done something wrong (I know this is ambiguous but I have no idea what, broken promises or something) so they're not being harsh in his punishment? RE: Berahino - silverbaggie - 06-09-2015 Gordon Taylor, the boss of the players union seems to have been acting as a peacemaker between player and club. He states that he is confident that matters will be resolved and that Sulko will play again. We shall just have to wait and see what happens on Monday! RE: Berahino - wba_1996 - 06-09-2015 Exactly what I was hoping for. The best case scenario is that he signs a contract extension on ~£50k per week, with a buyout clause of £25-30m. That way he is happy as he is on way more money, he is motivated to play as he has to convince clubs to trigger his release clause, it benefits the club as a key player is giving his all and we won't lose him on the cheap as he is contracted for an extra couple of seasons. RE: Berahino - Dingle-Dingle - 07-09-2015 West Brom forward Saido Berahino, 22, is set to withdraw his strike threat and will return to training this week. (Daily Mirror) Hodgson has also admitted he is concerned that strikers Danny Welbeck, 24, and Daniel Sturridge, 26, may not be fit enough to play for England at Euro 2016. (Mirror) Wonder if the 1st one has any relation to the 2nd DD ![]() ![]() Saido Berahino will back down on his strike threat and return to action for West Brom, according to Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor. Express. Izzy Brown has revealed he could be recalled by Chelsea in January from his loan with Vitesse. Express. DD ![]() ![]() RE: Berahino - drewks - 07-09-2015 Loads of coverage this morning of TP's take of the Berahino situation - "lack of father figure", "needs to show more respect", etc, and also his position regarding the Spurs bids. Interesting reading; IMO sensible comments that give a little more hope that things can be resolved ![]() RE: Berahino - Salopbaggie - 07-09-2015 This has to be the most ridiculous poll I have seen in a rag for a long time, or maybe it explains certain problems we have had with players in recent years (joke). http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-bromwich-albion-aston-villa-10004502 RE: Berahino - aries22 - 07-09-2015 I voted 'Yes' just to bump the numbers along. RE: Berahino - 4evaabaggie - 07-09-2015 I have the same problem, I go to my surgery and say which doctor. RE: Berahino - Salopbaggie - 07-09-2015 SB did train today for 90 minutes, apparently just like a normal training session. Well they would say that ![]() RE: Berahino - Beefy 1965 - 08-09-2015 Just seen Mozza on sky, he said with a cheeky grin he will be having a word with saido on his return ![]() http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/791298614?-11200:789:0 |
