RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 04-05-2015 It matters to me. Having grown up around Leeds fans, had the piss taken all through school years and beaten up by the bastards, I for one would love it, love it, if we managed to finish higher in the league than them for the first time since 1961. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 04-05-2015 It's a Bank Holiday Art, they aren't going to get out of bed to make a decision today. Half of them won't even decide whether to ask the wife for the box of Kleenex or reach over her to get it themselves. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 04-05-2015 Breaking news: FL statement says there won't be a replay and a result will be decided at a meeting on May 14th. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 04-05-2015 3pts would mean finishing above Leeds but I'd rather we didn't get them as it would be a hollow victory RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 04-05-2015 I don't think they have an option now. Mandatory 3-0 win to the innocent party. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 04-05-2015 I want to finish above Leeds but I want it to be earned on the pitch not by a football league ruling but there is absolutely no point in even thinking about replaying the game. If we get 1 or 3 points fair enough but as far as I'm concerned the season is over and we move onto next season now RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - ARTERRIER - 04-05-2015 Think we have to give the FL some credit acting quick to say the game need not be replayed. They will want to gather evidence, who knew what, who didn't, listen to both clubs, the ref, the rozzers, which is fair enough. I also just wonder if this might also spark further scrutiny into Blackpool's affairs. The FL won't want this to happen again and if its effecting the integrity of the game and the integrity of one of their member clubs they might launch an investigation, if this does happen, the fans will feel vindicated in their actions. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 05-05-2015 Well they made one decision. Another 10 days of Kleenex needed before they make a proper one, otherwise they will be blowing their noses on the bed sheets or the curtains. Why else would they need Kleenex? RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 05-05-2015 Blackpool need kicking out of the league. Frigging disgraceful what happened. Shite to 'em! Blackpool FC will have met with the safety committee and the police to discuss how to police/steward the event. They will have followed the guidelines set down, Blackpool FC will have done everything they were asked to do. |
