I thought that was what we had in Gamboa!

Ok. First half was average at best. But we have a goal and get back into this.  This is where a TP talk will make a difference.
Glad to have had a few more sign up to sportsbabble after the last game. Would be great to get a few of the 27 signed up during the second half Thumb up

Believe it or not, that BRUNTY goal puts us joint top on goals scored from set pieces.

What gets said and done in that dressing room in the next fifteen minutes will be crucial. We can still potentially salvage this match having done our best to throw it away within half an hour. More performances like that first half will relegate us, but if we can come out swinging second half, our fate's in our own hands.

Time to earn your pay, Tony (and the team).

Wink

....captain material maybe?? Big Grin

We should be 3 down. Really hope TP has a hairdrier and a REAL hot setting.
The passing & ball retention has been shocking (apart from literally isolated moves) - 10x worse than under AI! No drive, no creativity, no passion.

REALLY expecting to see a difference 2nd half.

I think we have 2, but clearly they're not big enough for Pulis

I may be tempting fate but can we play as badly as that in the second half? Made Burnley look good at times.

Brunt's goal has got us a foothold in the game but it's all he has done apart from giving Burnley their second goal.
Mind you he isn't the only one, far too many under par performances first half.

Who needs fast full backs when we have Baird and Dawson!

Brunt - what a guy! Always been my favourite player! ha,ha,ha! Jesus!

Apart from the goal, i get the impression he has been particularly useless though. However, credit where credit is due - fair play to the guy! As a former captain he needs to lead by example and rally the team to put in a big shift second half.

Burnley will be worried about their lead because of what happened in their last home game against Palace
