not if he gets 20 goals and we finish 13th again.
Probably only got 2/3 seasons left in him so he'd need to be scoring 20 goals for each of those seasons

For 4.5M those 20 goals are only worth it IF it gets us promoted

Murphy is 32 and strikers decline rapidly at that age. It would be money wasted.
He has had one good season in a team playing long ball. He is unlikely to fit in with our ball playing Iberians.
Far better to go the whole hog & sign Wickham or Rhodes (or Antonio!!!)

Alex Lopez would be a great signing!!! He has played in La Liga for the past 5 years for Celta Vigo, so he should fit in fine in the championship!!! Team is starting to take shape nicely if this one is confirmed.
If this loan is confirmed then we will have 3 loan signings in the squad, all on season long loans, so only space for two more in the starting line-up.

A decent player and a good experienced Championship signing. Could be the signing of the summer in my opinion.
