I hope he does well and gets his career back on track. He hasn’t been the same player that earned a move to RB Leipzig since he joined us.

Good luck Ollie, thanks for all you did for us, oh hang on wait a minute ........ you didn't .....

Not your fault, Pulis's didn't use you or give you a chance, you never got first team time, whether it was managers or you ..... I will never know ...... but three managers same result ......

He didn't really perform at Leipzig either by all accounts ...... hopefully he will be blinding stepping down a level to the SPL and Celtic, and resurrect his career, giving us a chance of recouping our money.

Leicester have just tweeted that Harvey Barnes will be going back towards the end of the window when they have moved others out.
Cant copy and paste it off my phone but it's out there trust me Angry

Newport 2 Leicester 1......gotta be good news re Barnes's potential recall? More probable if they'd gone through I'd think

Possibly. Or will how inept their reserves are tempt them to recall anyway as covers for injury?

The other worry could be that Puel could get sacked and the new man might want everyone to pick from.

I think it would be a stupid move by Leicester if they do recall him though. I don't think he's ready for the Premier League yet and there's no way he will be able to play in the free role for Leicester, as they demand a defensive shift from everyone. For us, he has had the tendency to go missing for 85 minutes then have a 5 minute spell where he can do something spectacular. I don't think they are in the position to afford such a luxury in the Premier League. Most importantly, he's learning here, physically and mentally. We're going to be pushing for promotion, so it's vital experience for him that he's not going to get warming their bench. Obviously he's a massively important player for us and the weight of that can only be good for his development.

But we'll wait and see. I don't think recalling would benefit Leicester at all long term, but I can understand fans putting pressure on given some of the goals he has scored. Fans calling for him could tempt the powers that be.

Puel is safe up to 7th place in the league is as good as it gets for LC
Sad if Barnes goes back, but that's what happens when loan players make positive contributions.

Incoming - Giles Barnes.
Wow the new scouting team and Darren have pulled a rabbit out of the hat with that one.
Sorry but this is a push for relegation. I'm not impressed at all.

“Giles Barnes is back training with West Bromwich Albion - but it’s understood that Baggies head coach Darren Moore merely doing his old teammate a favour by providing him with the facilities to maintain his fitness.”

It’s just like Halford, Richardson, Cranie, Reo-Coker etc.
