Is Chris Baird free?

Evans will be a good signing at this price
Nowhere near the £12 Million being bandied about !!!!

baggie38

The actual figure is around 5 million. Evans is in the final year of his contract and LVG wants rid. I'm amazed the press have been going with the 10 - 12 million pound figure it doesn't make sense.

It  does if United are really looking towards moving him to Everton after they have received £30 million for Stone Whistle

Not an improvement on what we already have, IMO. He'd be good for Wolves.

And Jonny Evans is never worth £12 million. I don't recall him doing that well when he was on loan at Sunderland.

Jeez Aries, that was 7-8 years ago when he was 20 years old.

Would be a solid signing for £5m, an improvement on all of our current CB's as he can actually move.

Big Vic would do very well for #dcfc. Hope it goes well for him. #wba

£3m for Victor? I'm confused, are we paying #dcfc to take him or are they actually paying us for the man made out of biscuits? #wba ???

West Brom's Victor Anichebe is in talks with Derby over a £3m move, according to reports in a national newspaper. #

I'll be honest. I didn't realise it was 7-8 years ago he was at Sunderland. Seems like only yesterday.
£5 million sounds a lot better as well. That means JP could probably knock United down to £3 million.  Rolleyes Rolleyes

Please let Big Vic go to Derby County! We should never have paid £6 million for him in the first place with his injury record - what on earth were we thinking? But he could do really well in the Championship and maybe even help Derby get promoted.
And that'll be four former Baggies in the Derby team along with Scott Carson, Chris Baird and George Thorne.

That's the best expression I've ever heard.
Surely a knighthood awaits? Big Grin Laugh Laugh
