RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - WBA-Josh - 15-07-2018 President Donald Trump gave Theresa May some advice during his stay about how to deal with the EU and negotiations. He told her to sue the EU. Thanks Donald for that fine piece of advice. ![]() Maybe she could sue the EU in the People’s Court - https://youtu.be/dLYfwprjtog RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 15-07-2018 Now that is indeed embarrassing and the word "thicko" comes to mind. However, this low level of intellect is unsurprising TBH! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - Devongone - 16-07-2018 Is it possible to take the EU Commissioners to the EU Court? Maybe one of the 4 founding principles breaks international law in some way. It may be a million to one against, but perhaps Trump has finally suffered a stroke of genius. Perhaps the EU needs to be taken to The Hague. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 17-07-2018 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44856992 So "Vote Leave" violated electoral law and a subsequent £61k fine prevails. And the VL campaigners' reaction to the scathing criticism from the Electoral Commission is a classic RW Trump move by calling it a political ploy!! Absolute bullshit as it is becoming abundantly clear this is cheating the democratic process "on a grand scale" but reversing the process is well nigh impossible because of the poor way the whole EU referendum was set up in 2016 with no legal caveats/associated clauses created to cover for said voting and campaigning violations/improper practise. However, a move to reverse the activation of Article 50 has never been done but could be legally tested in the law courts if the British govt or parliament felt there were strong grounds to do it. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - Devongone - 19-07-2018 Didn't everyone cheat in the referendum? The Government certainly did, but isn't that what we expect? We call our elections free and fair, but we mark our own homework. No wonder we do better than Zimbabwe. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 20-07-2018 That is something worth highlighting - the fact that we previously condemned the voting violations of the most undemocratic African states down the years and yet we are observing similar shameless violations within our own shores - shocking and no proper recourse being applied in the name of democracy and the will of the people! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 22-07-2018 Jacob rees mogg explaining this morning there will be no short or medium term benefits from brexit, its a shitpile and he don't give a xxxx because his riches are being moved out the country tout suite. Bottom line is we are leaving 750 global trade deals and the free trade single market behind for 0 trade deals and no access. We will be at the mercy of trump and his pals. As a more sane tory MP pointed out this morning a no deal scenario ( almost certainly happening now) will lead the UK to a 'state of emergency'. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - spireitematt - 24-07-2018 The Brexit department has been downgraded so Raab won't be doing the discussions. Instead it will be the whole of the cabinet and Theresa May. Right now all I can picture is this. RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 24-07-2018 (22-07-2018, 19:33)hibeejim21 Wrote: Jacob rees mogg explaining this morning there will be no short or medium term benefits from brexit, its a shitpile and he don't give a **** because his riches are being moved out the country tout suite. Listening to that little insignificant "weasel" of a Secretary of State for Scotland, Mundell, and he is shamelessly professing that he'd welcome a "no deal" to ensure the Union will remain intact - doesn't matter re the massive job losses and ensuing chaos!!! What a little shit and bring on the quest for Scot Indy 2 asap and finally get away from these shameless unionist shitheids!! Meanwhile at the UK Supreme Court, the British Govt's case begins against the Withdrawal Bill, that has been formally drawn up and approved by the Scot Parliament, will take a few weeks before a final judgement is made. IMO the decision should be, without doubt, in favour of the Scot govt and precedence for Scottish Law. I'm curious to see if the English law courts try to "ride roughshod" over a Scottish constitutional issue that is set in Scottish Law. We Scots will move significantly towards Scot Indy 2 If they collude in this final judgement - it will cause a political"storm" up here!! RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - 0762 - 25-07-2018 ....and meanwhile it's intriguing to watch this "shady brexit campaigner", Aaron Banks, now squirming in his chair as it is becoming more n more apparent that there is a Russian link to all the millions n millions of quid that was "forked out" on a highly financed brexit campaign!! The plot thickens, the intense scrutiny continues! |
