RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Slick_Footwork - 31-08-2016 (31-08-2016, 22:47)BBB Wrote: Not by the board, by his style of play that doesn't excite people to come here. Maybe he will try something new as he has some great professionals. What has he too lose? I'm afraid I don't accept that players care about 'style of play' and wont sign for Pulis. He's attracted plenty of decent players in his time, Crouch from Liverpool, Huth from Chelsea, Woodgate, Owen, Tuncay, Etherington... Fletcher and Evans here... There's tons of dross 'footballing' teams in the Prem these days. Look at Palace as an example, they barely score any goals, play no football at all, yet they seem to be able to attract big stars... The fact is, we don't open the purse strings. It's that simple. All we do is go after Championship fodder. Pulis stated he needed 5 higher quality players and we've signed 2. It's a joke. The club has been ran like a joke for the last 3 years... Think I will e-mail the club tomorrow and ask for a refund on my Season ticket! ???????????? RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 31-08-2016 Don't we still have one domestic and one international loan left? RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - 4evaabaggie - 31-08-2016 If JP still legally the owner ..... that would explain not spending any of his windfall that he is waiting for ..... Chinese may be dismayed at our lack of activity as their premier status now in real danger. This is my last post on this issue tonight .... up since 0330, to tired to angry to continue. Of all of our disappointing windows recently this is the most despicable, the promises of big signings, money in the bank, some great names linked, all gone else where, still no striker, no number 10, got some full backs at last but will they play. I have been struggling with the Albion for a while but all the hype suckered me in, my spirit, my hope rose majestically into the sky, only to be slam dunked again by a refusal to spend a little extra ...... Can't walk away, Albion are part of me but they will be restrained into the background for a while ...... coyb Albion til I die. RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Salter - 31-08-2016 Can the Chinese still pull out of the deal? Would you pay 200m for a Championship team with no supporters? RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - HarryJAllstarWBA - 31-08-2016 Has Lambert gone? So there you go Typical JP window Bald BAST**D RE: 2016 (Final Day 16:00 Update) - WBA Summer Transfer Window - Mosestheballwinner - 31-08-2016 This squad can't compete this season. We saw that against a disciplined Boro team. We will go down with a whimper. I just hope it's not as bad as Derby, Sunderland and Villa's relegation. You have to ask what Pulis sees in players that we clearly can't. Everyone he buys, he talks about that bit of quality. Then you see them play and you know it's all shite and they are just bang average players. This weeks signings will be no different, mark my words. We're in real trouble now and if this Chinese guy eventually takes over he's already intimated that he's not going to change the way that we operate. He's in it to take the money out of the club. He has no interest in investing the TV money. As a squad we're slowly dying on our arses. The guys on Sky know we're awful and Rambo said as much tonight. We don't provide entertainment for anyone and I can't help thinking JP has sold us down the river. I really hope Pulis does jump. I'd rather go down playing Ardiles style football than put up with this horrible stuff. |
