Sadly when you sell the best assist provider in the division then we probably need to spend over £3m to replace him.

but we could have brought in 2 other cheaper players to make up the assists, whether that was on loan until we had the funds or permanent. McGugan and Drentthe were a start but we didn't tie them down for long enough and then let Drentthe slip away.

Whilst that is true, letting Antonio leave was gross mismanagement IMO.

I had us down for 23rd this season 
and I'm damn sure if we hadn't got off to a good start, by surprising teams who expected us to be total crap, and the existence of Blackpool and Millwall, that's where we would be

but we can still get 2nd
all we have to do is win all seven of our games, hope Bum Muff lose all theirs, turn round a 46 goal deficit, and hope that all the rest of the top 8 lose most of their games too
