Slick,
I guess I class myself in the glass half full brigade mate ! But no that is not a 'good' away point but 2 pts dropped thanks to negative tactics and Dorrans.
We have enough decent players to stay up but I am fed up off this dross.
Football should be entertainment not containment.
The Villa game is another huge must win game but with Mr negative at the helm no doubt we will go out not to lose.
Survival means success in this league but for gods sake we pay our money for entertainment, flashes of skill and goals not to watch players of a pretty good level strangling the life out of the beautiful game.

Been following this forum for a while but never registered to add my own comments, but I cannot let this go on any longer without saying something. I never wanted AI in the first place, thought it was a recipe for disaster, but I was prepared to give him a chance and see where we were at come Christmas. However if he is still in charge at Christmas then I really believe we will be gone with no way back. My first Albion game was the 68 cup final so I've seen a lot of squads, managers, coaches and owners in my time and can honestly say this current coach is the most inept and out of his depth I have ever seen at the Hawthorns. He just doesn't have a clue, and if his tactics, team selection and substitutions today didn't prove that to the chairman then nothing will. As if this isn't bad enough, I have just bought my ten year old son a mascot package for Christmas, the home game against qpr at Easter, by which time we may well be a championship club in waiting, and if AI is still in charge, definitely a championship club.

You are a very good poster mate and very very knowledgable but your not always right. Hope you are today though. Respect others opinions but no need for the !

I'm done now as we both want a Baggies win.

Now, now lads !!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Trousers,

Show me any one who did want Ted as head coach Doh

This is just my opinion but it's today's football supporters that are strangling the life out of the game. Everyone is too scared to move through fears of retribution and vile abuse.

Nowadays its instant sucess or they're 'going to get it'.

What is happening to the game I grew up loving?

Top 8 clubs you are right tidy but for Albion staying up is success. Can it be that hard to achieve that but playing football that is enjoyable to watch ?

A point lads a point, which is great, cos you never know it might be the point we need to stay up.

A for the game it was dross, and Dorrans penalty was predicted and pathetic.

We can't now lose to Villa cos if we do, then Doh Doh Doh

I have never really called for a managers head before. But I, for one, did not want this man appointed in the first place.

It just never stacked up. I have tried really hard to see the logic behind his appointment (other than he'd do as he is told) and I have tried to come to terms with it.

But now, it's no use trying anymore.

Horrid as it is to call for someone to lose his job. I want his sorry arse out of the club and as quickly as possible.

I do agree that he is not alone as far as blame is concerned. No wonder other decent candidates always walk away when they can't bring their own staff with them.

Never felt so depressed about the position we are in as now. The coach is a deadweight and those around him are no better. We need a major overhaul and I fear it will take Championship football to make it happen.

The best we can hope for without falling out of the Premiership is to bounce along the sea bed every season, dragging weed.

Ok,
Plus points - sounds like G-Mac played well so hopefully will keep his place for Villa game.
Varela - more time under his belt and another good performance
Anichebe - back to causing problems for defenders.
Josh/world class Albion - ! Row made me smile on a day the result didn't.
