RE: WBA vs Leeds - Match Thread - 4evaabaggie - 13-11-2018 BBB, yes you are entitled to your opinion, we all are, and that's what makes this site enjoyable, we are all different under one banner, we care for the Albion, the fact we can disagree in the most part without resorting to abuse and name calling is testament to the quality of posters on here ..... people get irk'd from time to time but generally we all get on. Long may it continue. To me it looked very fluid and changed between 442 and 433 at will. It reminded me of the Hodgson shape in his final 3 months at the club. Robson-Kanu’s position seemed important because if he moved central from the right alongside Rodriguez then Phillips would pull out the right side and make it a 442. The goals were also very well worked as well with the play faster getting forward. Right, if we get Barry in at Ipswich to shore up the midfield, we can go with your 443 and hope nobody notices. ![]() ![]() RE: WBA vs Leeds - Match Thread - Blue Baggie - 13-11-2018 I kick Darren when he repeatedly makes basic errors, but I'm the first to kick myself when he proves me wrong. I've always said I want him to be a success, but he is still under the control of Jenkins which makes things difficult. The January window will demonstrate where we stand with Jenkins. Give Darren the funds to enhance the team or give him another free transfer - the choice is his. That’s fine, not sure why but whatever floats ya boat mate. Change my mind? Yeah sometimes but me saying he needs a plan B rather than three at the back constantly and pointing out we were better with 4 there isn’t really changing my mind. It has been proven to be correct after the last game. Anyway hang on I’m just gonna look out the window and see what the weathers doing. Oh and by the way ‘the some people’ comment wasn’t mine so maybe you wanna re read. RE: WBA vs Leeds - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 14-11-2018 Yes World class it was mine and how bloody true it is, we were all begging Big Dave to stop playing three at the back , 2 snails in midfield, change formation to a 4 and he did it........... Hurrah for us ![]() I cant see BBB's posts as he is blocked by me for reasons I wont go into, but if someone quotes his post in their posts I can see them, But as I say we all wanted big Dave to succeed like my budgie, but all we wanted him to do was change things, seems to have worked for him and us dosent it ![]() RE: WBA vs Leeds - Match Thread - 4evaabaggie - 14-11-2018 Early days beefy, early days. One change of formation doesn't mean it will be repeated ..... here's hoping that plans b, c and d are now in the armoury and ready to fire us back to somewhere I would rather not be .... the greed league. Beefy I know mate, apparently us pointing out facts is not acceptable. Not sure why he’s blocked you and now I’m in his sights. I’m more than happy to be proven wrong as I have been in the past. Haven’t we all? Anyway it’s stopped raining so I might start calling for 3 at the back again ![]() ![]() ![]() As my old man would say ‘Tek no notice me mon’ ![]() RE: WBA vs Leeds - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 14-11-2018 He hasn't blocked me mate ![]() ![]() Unfortunately for me I can read his posts when somebody else uses his quote in their posts. Other than that I have to view his scores in the prediction League when I'm scoring when St Charles goes on another of his 100 holidays a Year . I'm sure some of the Championship's referees wouldn't even notice if we started with 12 players. We could always dress Dwight Gayle up in a green grass costume as our 12th player and lie him down in the opposition penalty area. Tell the lads to smack the ball at him so it can hit him and go in.
