Why should the Rangers fans be the cash cow for the SPFL? If they try and fight it, charge £1 a ticket and give them their half. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - Fredstersafool - 29-04-2015 Problem is that all the teams agreed it or that's my understanding ,however rangers are doing the right thing a season ticket should mean exactly what it says for a season. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - ritchiebaby - 29-04-2015 Another smash and grab on the play-off money? ![]() RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - supercooper - 30-04-2015 Rangers agreed to nothing we as a club had no vote on this. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - TheWorthinGer - 01-05-2015 The cheek of them wanting 50% before expenses. All the profit and none of the costs. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - Fredstersafool - 01-05-2015 Is that right Coop I thought it was agreed across the board RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - El Car - 01-05-2015 Only 29 league clubs voted and we weren't one of them. Also worth noting that it wasn't unanimous. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - St Charles Owl - 01-05-2015 The SPFL response to Rangers giving ST their seats for free: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32490412 So the SPFL last season allowed Hibs to do this but once they get a team who are likely to have 45,000 fans in the stadium for potentially three games want to do it they claim its against the rules and they will prosecute the club!! Whether its right or wrong, the precendent has been clearly set and any civil court will see that!! Of course the SPFL seem to want to act as their own judge and jury on most things anyway. This is a gesture that should be offered by all clubs across the UK, well done to Hibs for doing it last season and well done to Rangers and Motherwell for wanting to repeat that. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - TheWorthinGer - 01-05-2015 That's not actually the SPFL's response - that's the BBC second guessing their response. I can't believe how greedy they are being, what with all six games being televised and wanting their cut before expenses. The club should set the adult ticket price for a season ticket holder at £1 while also giving them the option to take a kid for free. Non season ticket holders who have bought walk ups to games this season should be charged a nominal £10 with a free child ticket. Paying kids for £1. Full houses and a decent chance of success. |
