Most Managers these days aren't brave enough to try something different. The annoying thing is we have the players to play 352 but Carlos seems obsessed with 442. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Brentford - Imre varadi - 22-02-2017 Fulham winning brilliant Fylham have away ! They play 4-2-3-1 away aswel ? they are now 5pts behind with a game in hand ? RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Brentford - Jacko The Flopsy Piglet - 23-02-2017 The wind was definitely a small factor in the way the game went. Westwood's kicks were only just crossing half way so they knew they could press our back four and stop us playing out. Having said that what little possession we did have we generally squandered with either over-ambitious or under-ambitious passing and poor technique. Didn't look like their defender got the ball for Forestieri's penalty shout and agree there was only similar contact for the free kick that lead to the first goal. Not sure you can blame Westwood for the goal. The ball was headed beyond the far post and looped perfectly over him. Some efforts you just can't save. Having said that, again, the defending of the header was pretty poor with their bloke outjumping 2 defenders. For the second goal Sasso did seem pretty upset with the ref and my brother says he saw one of ours go to the floor though I didn't see it. I thought the atmosphere had been quite good to start with but after 20 minutes, when most people could see we weren't at it, it fizzled out and by half time most of us were wondering how early to leave! RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Brentford - St Charles Owl - 24-02-2017 BML Update - no winners for the score, Pei got one for the attendance and Maddix gets one for Madsteve for getting 4 results right. |
