Take over completed .................

After months of red tape, it has been confirmed that the West Brom takeover is finally complete.

The saga has been stretching for longer than most would have preferred with fans growing very impatient in that period.

Fear no more, Albion have now been sold to a Chinese investment group headed by Guochuan Lai

I am 56, nearly 57.

It's time for the club to grow a pair and make a big bold move. Aim big or go out in a blaze of glory.

Whose money is going down the sough should we "go out in a blaze of glory"?  Not yours or mine.  Exciting language but I don't see it happening.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis is not expecting major changes after the Premier League club was bought by a Chinese investment group.

Yunyi Guokai Sports Development Limited, led by Guochuan Lai, completed its takeover on Thursday.

Pulis, whose future at The Hawthorns has been under scrutiny in recent weeks, said he was "pleased" the deal had been finalised.

The 58-year-old said: "I don't think the new owners will change too much."

Pulis, who has a year left on his contract, was disappointed the Baggies failed to land some of his preferred transfer targets this summer but chose not to quit.

He thinks the club's new owners will run the club in a similar way to former owner Jeremy Peace.

"They've bought into Jeremy's model," said Pulis. "I think they are going to try to run it on similar lines. I still think Jeremy is going to be involved a little bit.

"[Chief executive] John Williams has moved in as chairman so there will still be that continuity."

Asked if he had spoken to the new owners, Pulis said: "That will come, I think."

That`s it then........ Same old same old. DD Angry Angry
