RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (12th May) - Stairs - 13-05-2016 According to the papers - Rickie Lambert looks set to leave, no surprises, maybe on a free transfer having started only one Premier League game this season. Plus Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon will leave as free agents and James Morrison is wanted by former club Middlesbrough. Also West Brom are ready to ship out Sebastien Pocognoli and Cristian Gamboa. RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - DanTheSmethwickMan - 13-05-2016 Really am lost with this idea of letting Sessegnon go RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - Stathemwasthebestever - 14-05-2016 Great shame if Morrison leaves. RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - wba_1996 - 14-05-2016 I can understand the logic in letting both Sessegnon and Morrison go, yes they are our 2 most creative midfielders, but at 31 and 29 they are no spring chickens and have issues with attitude and injuries, respectively. With both struggling to find any consistency over the past couple of seasons, I feel with a bit of investment we could improve upon both and reduce the average age of the squad. However, it is highly likely that Pulis would replace them with more 'aard-working dross like Gardner and McClean. RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - RainbowTurnedEastStand - 15-05-2016 I`d take Enrique,Phillips, and Robson-Kanu all available on free transfers which would suit Jeremy Peace down to the ground. RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - tidy - 16-05-2016 Roll Up! Roll Up! It's Jeremy Peace bashing time again... RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - SpenB - 16-05-2016 Was on BBC news that Everton are resigned to loosing Lukaka to PSG and was £12 million rated Saido! bit of a differance from the £24 million Spurs offered numerous times! Hate Levy or not - we should of took it! RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - Baggie_One - 16-05-2016 Have we signed anyone yet ? I'm bored..... RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - tidy - 16-05-2016 (16-05-2016, 10:52)SpenB Wrote: Was on BBC news that Everton are resigned to loosing Lukaka to PSG and was £12 million rated Saido! bit of a differance from the £24 million Spurs offered numerous times! Hate Levy or not - we should of took it! Not sure. How much was it worth to see Spurs, without enough strikers, completely bottle the last month of the season? Pretty priceless... ![]() Anyway, Levy only offered a few Quid as a down payment with the rest paid in instalments over the next 50 years. RE: 2016 WBA Summer Transfer Window (13th May) - Beefy 1965 - 16-05-2016 Big Vic not hanging around ............. Thank God ![]() Just posted on twitter........ Victor Anichebe @VictorAnichebe 2h2 hours ago Thank you to all the @WBAFCofficial fans for the support during my time at the club! I wish you all the best for the future. God bless ? |
