RE: WBA vs Bristol City - FA Cup Third Round Match Thread - BaggieMan - 15-01-2016 You can't really believe they've sacked Steve Cotterill - sign of the footballing times. I understand he took over a couple of years ago when they were on a the brink of relegation to League 2, saved them that year and then stormed to be League 1 champions last season. Bristol City have struggled bridging the gap between League 1 to Championship but unless continued success is achieved, the poisoned chalice awaits. Madness really. RE: WBA vs Bristol City - FA Cup Third Round Match Thread - DarrenFletchersEngine - 19-01-2016 Looking at that team I can't help but think we may struggle to break Bristol City down. Yacob & Gardner in the middle doesn't scream creativity and Rondon and Anichebe up top certainly doesn't scream lightning quick movement or goals. Have to hope Sess and McClean produce something magic to create a couple of chances. Or get a defender to nod in a set piece! Let's hope the Anichebe who played a few weeks ago turns up and gives them problems. Nice to see them on live television though...COYB RE: WBA vs Bristol City - FA Cup Third Round Match Thread - Tibby Baggie - 19-01-2016 Foster; Yacob, Evans, Gardner, Anichebe, Brunt, McClean, McAuley, Dawson, Sessegnon, Rondon Lindegaard; Chester, McManaman, Gamboa, Pocognoli, Lambert, Leko TP also said talking to the press pre-match that he would have picked Saido but he "has a bug". Of course he does Tone, the January Transfer window lurgy I bet... ![]() |
