Meite incredibly only scored the one, though somehow it feels like there should have been more. RE: WHO AM I? - silverbaggie - 30-08-2015 Any chance that Sam Mantom is the player? RE: WHO AM I? - Dingle-Dingle - 30-08-2015 Own Goals. Scott Carson. Joe Mayo, went to Leyton Orient as part of the deal for Laurie Cunningham. Joe was a Tipton Grammar school lad which was a borstal for clever kids. Joe is a real Albion man and often speaks at the Albion match day dinners and along with Graham Williams is one of the best raconteurs that is heard at the Hawthorns. RE: WHO AM I? - silverbaggie - 31-08-2015 I thought that the additional clue about Spain might have given a clue, as in 'toro' which is Spanish for???? The misleading clue that the player went to a Club in a lower league confused the issue but then in all probability the Wolves were in a lower league for much of the time. I will have a stab at this and suggest Steve Bull who was it seems born in Tipton. ![]() RE: WHO AM I? - Bierzo Baggie - 31-08-2015 Joe Mayo it is! Number 9 in the first Albion match I saw back in the Johnny Giles era. Mayo is Spanish for....May. Steven Bull has got 10 letters ![]() |
