G-Mac and Darren Purse are correct, the former having scored four, the latter two.

I suspect it may be Joe Mayo, though that's always seemed more of an Irish name to me than a Spanish one.

Joe Mayo, went to Leyton Orient as part of the deal for Laurie Cunningham.
Joe was a Tipton Grammar school lad which was a borstal for clever kids. Joe is a real Albion man and often speaks at the Albion match day dinners and along with Graham Williams is one of the best raconteurs that is heard at the Hawthorns.

I thought that the additional clue about Spain might have given a clue, as in 'toro' which is Spanish for????
The misleading clue that the player went to a Club in a lower league confused the issue but then in all probability the Wolves were in a lower league for much of the time.
I will have a stab at this and suggest Steve Bull who was it seems born in Tipton.
