Were going down can anybody see where our next point is coming from in the last 6 games  Huh

Palace 3 Points
Liverpool 1 Point
Man Utd 3 Points
Newcastle 1 Point
Chelsea 3 Points
Arsenal  ?
Total 11 points, !!!!!!!!!!!

With 1 game to go I think to a man we were all wrong  Laugh

It's been a mad season - I was hoping to stay up on 35 points after our easy games against QPR and Leicester and then nothing more.
We have just shown the champions how to play football after beating Man U on their home turf.
You couldn't make this up Laugh Laughing

I'm delighted to be proved wrong, Beef. I honestly thought we'd only get 2 pts from that lot, and end up with something like 35 pts.
If we'd shown the same discipline at Villa Park, though, we could be looking forward to 2 wins over the Arsenal in North London.

I always knew we would be safe with our easy run in

Magic. Absolute magic. Our biggest win against Chelsea since August 1977! I joked in the OP about classic spring evenings up the Hawthorns, but this has to be up there with United '68, Swansea '93, Wolves '07, etc.

Dead rubber my arse (I know that sounds like a dodgy proposition; behave yourselves). Tonight was a quality, hard-working performance from every man in stripes, and it could well have been more than 3-0. Regardless of what happens at Arsenal, this is a fantastic end to a very tough season. Be proud tonight, you Baggies. Be very proud.

I see that the BBC is, as usual, suitably unimpressed!

They seem to be underwhelmed by our performance.

One pundit on 5 Live did actually mention that recently we had kept more clean sheets than any other Premiership club.

The sky commentators complimented us quite a lot during the game tbf to them, not so much after the game. It's a big shame that the great escape show was cancelled but yesterday was amazing. Probably my favourite game I can remember (I'm quite young, just need to sort Yacob's contract now.

Okay, I hang my head in shame, I was full of doom and gloom after the Leicester shambles and was seriously worried about our chances of survival, and like many others couldn't see where we would get our points from. I really should have more faith.
As for last night, what a great performance, some of our guys really did come to the party, Yacob was immense, easily his best performance for a long time and mozza, brunty, fletch showed exactly what they are capable of. I have been critical of the defensive set up recently, playing three or four centre backs but god it worked well last night with some excellent and even skilful play from the back four. An all round great team performance and I agree absolutely with tying Boaz down to a new contract, is he actually our best keeper?
Finally, thoughtTP showed a bit of class tonight with his press conference.

With the benefit of a night's sleep to calm down.....

...I CAN'T!!! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

All the b*llox (sorry BV) about 'Chelsea demotivated.....already champions, etc etc" is totally expected from the 'Big Club Press' but totally untrue - they were just as commited as they always are in every game.

We just quite simply outplayed them.

The way our midfield was always very mobile and finding space actually reminded me of a very good Arsenal performance, it was that good. Chelsea had the possession but very rearely threatened to hurt us - but IMO this performance was 200% better than the one at OT last week; this time we didn't park the bus. Our players - ALL of them - looked as though they actually wanted the ball and looked neat and comfortable in possession.

And, as said by stairs earlier, what a contrast between the 2 managers. Total class from TP.

Also, a la Ska'd - no matter WHAT happens v Arsenal, what an end to the season!! Big Grin Big Grin Thumb up Thumb up

I did say I hoped TP would let the shackles off and let us play football and BOOM!!! What a fantastic display. Full of hard work, plenty of skill, added to that the 'OLE' chants, I Loved it, absolutely loved it.

Fabregas was stupid and Mike Jones had no choice but to give a red. Mourinho talking bollocks after the game, of course they were up for it and so was he.

YACOB was immense and my Man of the Match. A great all round display, possibly the best of the season.

We looked comfortable all game, Well done to all.

Boaz has ben brilliant since he came in for Ben and we need to get him on a new contract asap, we'd be crazy to let him go.

my season ticket already renewed despite not being able to make all the games due to poxy shift work.

I am one very happy and proud Albion man today Thumb up Cool Big Grin
