RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 15-03-2015 Baggy, that's why we have debate. Everyone has there own opinions. RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 15-03-2015 I couldn't believe the result when I saw it and I've only seen the motd highlights but it looked like most our players did very well. Good to see most the attacking players contributed a bit. RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - HarryJAllstarWBA - 15-03-2015 Definitely not brunts biggest fan, but hasn't he been our top assister every season for the last 20 or so seasons? He's definitely passed his best and I would move him on, but I think some criticism he gets is OTT - especially as we seem to only be able to score from set pieces! RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - BC Baggie - 16-03-2015 How many clean shirts have we kept with brunt at left back, compared to when pocognoli was there ?. That should be enough without his crossing coming into it IMO RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - BaggyBomber - 16-03-2015 (15-03-2015, 23:18)TheBaggieMan Wrote: Baggy, that's why we have debate. RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - BC Baggie - 16-03-2015 Well I did hear brunty was magic with a bit of fabric softener and a washing machine hahaha RE: WBA vs Stoke - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 16-03-2015 (16-03-2015, 00:27)BC Baggie Wrote: How many clean shirts have we kept with brunt at left back, compared to when pocognoli was there ?. That should be enough without his crossing coming into it IMO BC, not really sure you can compare clean 'shirts' under Irvine with that of Pulis. Very different organisation and set-up with the latter and of course, early season Lescott didn't feature for a while as Irvine thought he wasn't up to it fitness wise and JL has been outsdtanding since he came in adding a huge amount of stability to the back four. I couldn't believe it either when I finally came out from behind the settee and 'watched' the last 20 minutes on BBC Sports website live reporting.... but oh joy! The Stoke ghost exorcised and our twelfth clean sheet of the season. Now, if Brown Ideye can start converting more chances, his goal tally will increase twofold and we will all have less stress in our lives. I'm really pleased for him that he seems to have settled in a lot more. |
