Very solid performance over the 90 mins. Dominant in the first half, kept it tight and disciplined in the second half and restricted them to just one real chance in that last 45 mins. Nothing negative to say about that performance and result.

It also means smith will start I think .. rendering us useless ! The lad can score goals but its a one step forward backward thing as he has all the technical ability of an elephant.

If all he does is score goals then thats fine with me!!! He holds the ball up ok and he can see the easy pass to keep us moving forward. Don't expect him to do much else, although he does win headers in defence for set pieces.

Smith seems to have tapped in to rich vein of form, for Smith anyway.
